Visit by The Lord Lieutenant and TOG’s Got Talent
On April 4th we were honoured by a visit from The Lord Lieutenant of Greater Manchester Mrs. Diane Hawkins JP LLB and her husband Stephen. Members were very pleased to welcome them and were delighted when they took so much their time to meet with talk to members individually. It also gave us the opportunity to once again express our appreciation to The Lord Lieutenant and The Duchy of Lancaster Benevolent Fund for the £2000.00 donation to our club funds that they sent to us in March.
The same evening was our TOG’s Got Talent night when many members entertained us with an unforgettable display of their singing skills. The judges had a very difficult time deciding who gave us the best performance before finally deciding it was Dawn.
